Not only is it the first all-weather, year-round, 700,000-square-foot large water park in Asia, but it is also the first indoor surfing place—the Surf Striker, perfect for surfers all year round! Water World Ocean Park offers General Admission “Any Day” tickets and Summer Admission “Fixed Date” tickets.

  • Any Day” tickets, as suggested by their name, allow you to enter the park any day within the valid period. But note that there’re 2 types of “Any Day” tickets: one valid from April to June and September to December (excluding the summer period), and the other valid from April to December (including the summer period).
  • Fixed Date” tickets allow entrance on a specific date between July and August. You will need to choose a specific date when purchasing the ticket.

Which one should you get? “Any Day” ticket or the “Fixed Date” ticket?

It depends on your schedule. If you prefer more flexibility, then the “Any Day” ticket should be your option, but it costs a bit more. However, if you’re fully ready for the Water World adventure, then the “Fixed Date” ticket can definitely save you some money.

The Water World now requires visitors to purchase tickets in advance and reserve a date for entry. Reservations for the next 4 weeks will open on the 15th of every month at 5 p.m. Please note that daily quotas are limited and subject to availability.

After making a reservation, you will receive a QR code. Remember to keep it well, as you need to present it upon entry.

Reservations for storage lockers, car parks, Splash Pass (fast pass), and Canaba

In addition to tickets, you can also reserve lockers, parking spaces, Water World passes (fast passes), and Canaba facilities on the ticketing page.

How to get to the Water World Ocean Park

Water World Ocean Park is located at No. 33 Ocean Avenue, Aberdeen, Hong Kong. It’s not too difficult to get to Water World Ocean Park.

Shuttle bus

You can first head to the Ocean Park Main Entrance and take the free shuttle bus. The shuttle bus arrives every 10 minutes. Note that the shuttle bus is only available for visitors who hold Water World tickets and have made an online shuttle bus reservation in advance.

By car

Driving to Water World Ocean Park is not difficult, but you may need to consider the parking fee. Here are the details of the parking fees:

The hourly rate for parking is HK$50, with a maximum rate of HK$250 per day. It is also possible to make an online reservation and pay HK$250 for a one-day parking fee.

Water World Ocean Park Fast Pass

Water World offers several types of fast passes: Splash Pass Lite, Pro, and Max. With the Splash Pass, you can have priority access to the park’s rides. But note that the Splash Pass does not include the entrance ticket.

If you are a fan of surfing, take note of the Surf Club tickets. Surf Club ticket holders can receive personal instruction from Surf Club professional surfing instructors on basic and intermediate surfing skills during their reserved surfing time at “Surf Striker”.

The cost of the ticket is HK$488. If you purchase it along with a one-day admission ticket to the Water World, you can take advantage of a discounted price of HK$638.

What is the Water World Ocean Park?

The Water World Ocean Park is the largest water park in Hong Kong and the first year-round, all-weather seaside water park in Asia. It has 27 indoor and outdoor facilities, 5 major theme areas, and famous attractions including Rainbow Rush, Wave Rider, Riptide Bay, and The Abyss. Note that the Water World is not the same as the main park of Ocean Park, and visitors cannot enter the main park through the Water World.

Where is the entrance to the Water World?

The Water World is located in the former Shek O Village in Tai Shue Wan, some distance from the main entrance of Ocean Park. Visitors cannot take the cable car from the main park to the Water World, and must travel via Deep Water Bay Road.

How do I get to the Water World?

Visitors can take Citybus route 629 to the Water World, which runs between Central Ferry Pier and the Water World, passing through Ocean Park along the way. For the return trip, you can choose to take route 629M, which only runs between the Water World and MTR Wong Chuk Hang station.

In addition, the park provides a free shuttle bus service that departs every 10 minutes. Visitors must hold a valid Water World ticket and complete online registration before departure to be eligible to take the shuttle bus to the Water World.

What fast passes are available at Water World?

The Water World offers a “Splash Pass” fast pass, which allows holders to use park facilities with priority access. There are also 3 Splash Passes: Lite, Pro, and Max.
