For those who might not know, Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong (ACG HK) is a must-attend annual event for anime, manga, and gaming fans, and it has been held for over 20 years in Hong Kong.
This year will be the 25th edition of Animation-Comic-Game Hong Kong, which is set to be a 5-day extravaganza from July 26 to July 30, 2024, celebrating all things anime, manga, and gaming. With 142 exhibitors and 650 booths, including renowned exhibitors such as HOT TOYS, TINY, Winson Ma, and HK3C Toys, there will be no shortage of excitement, from thrilling performances to exclusive toy figures, the latest video games, and much more.

Canvas Project idol competition
The Canvas Project idol competition provides aspiring members of a Japanese idol group with an opportunity to dazzle the audience with their talents on stage. After 3 rounds of auditions, 10 aspiring girls will compete in the finals on the main stage of the anime convention on July 29, 2024, competing for the titles of champion, runner-up, third place, and multiple awards with their personally selected songs and team performances.
It’s a dream come true for those who long to take centre stage and showcase their skills. Let’s have a big shoutout to those fighting spirits: “Ganbare!”
Asia-Pacific Cosplay Carnival
One of the highlights of the ACG Main Stage is the second “Asia-Pacific Cosplay Carnival” event, featuring renowned Japanese cosplayers Saki Miyamoto, Elli, and some other heavy hitters in the world of Cosplay including Cosis-Tomia, Cosis-Berry, Clow, Ale, Jenny, Ing, and of course our very own Hong Kong teams BaLance and iMOTiOn.
Also, be sure not to miss the amazing Cosplay Contest held from 26th to 28th July (Friday to Sunday) from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. on the main stage, with a grand prize of HK$6,000.00 for the best costume in 2024. Get ready to witness some incredible costumes or unleash your inner anime character!
The 15th Anime Figure Design Competition and Original Comic Contest 2024
The Anime Figure Design Competition and the Original Comic Contest last year captivated creative minds like never before. This year’s theme is Ocean Play Figures. Through creative packaging of the ocean world, the organizer hopes to raise awareness and appreciation for the ocean and inspire everyone to protect and cherish it.
VTuber Momosuzu Nene live panel
Last but not least, this year ACG will host the immensely popular VTuber Momosuzu Nene from hololive as a special guest. Making her first-ever appearance in Hong Kong, Momosuzu Nene will meet her fans at the main stage on July 29th (Monday) at 1:45 PM. Where to get the ACG 2024 ticket?
You can purchase tickets ahead of time at designated 7-Eleven stores or through the ACGHK app. Alternatively, you can buy tickets at the entrance.
Also, keep in mind that one ticket allows access to both exhibitions: ACG 2024 and Elefunpop Art & Toy Show 2024. So, don’t lose your ticket! Plus, parents can bring their child, aged 12 or younger, for free.
HK$20 for cosplayers
For this year’s CosParadise on Hall 3C, all cosplayers must register online in advance and pay a $20 registration fee. Photographers are also required to register beforehand and purchase an $80 pass. Both the registration and passes are available exclusively through the convention’s app. Please note that only 3,500 spots are available for cosplayers, and 300 spots for photographers.

How to get to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre?
Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre is located at 1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. Here are some suggested routes to get to the HKCEC:
- Take the Blue Island Line MTR to Wan Chai MTR station, then walk to HKCEC using the footbridge from Exit A1.
- Take the East Rail Line MTR to Exhibition Centre station, which directly exits to HKCEC.
- Take the Star Ferry from Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier, located next to the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, across Victoria Harbour to HKCEC.
